mother's day love...

at 7:00 a.m.. this sunday morning i heard the sounds of footsteps scurrying down the steps.  then i heard the garage door open and off the three of them went.  15 minutes later i was served breakfast in bed.
the menu:
dunkin' donuts garlic bagel with cream cheese, mc donald's pancakes, a hashbrown and my cup of morning coffee.  sweet!

along with breakfast were my annual mother's day letters/cards to me.  each had heart felt words of appreciation.  as i read each one i was brought to tears, along with smiles and lots of laughter in between.

a few words from my guy=tears
"i really appreciate all that you do.  even if i don't like it i know it's for a good reason."
"i know i can come to you for anything because i trust you"

a few words from miss bling=laughter
"i just wanted to say that even though i do get in trouble and get lectured a lot it makes your life more interesting. how boring would your life be if i didn't give you that challenge?"
"your the bomb.com...have a good stress free day...you mean a lot to me and i love you sooo much mother!"

a few words from miss girly=smiles
"seeing your face each day is a blessing to me"
"thanks for loving, caring and supporting me, words can't describe how i feel"

and because i am a mall rat and i love to window shop that's what we did for mother's day.  it was so nice just being together.
I captured these ads at the sephora store with my phone camera.  it definitely states the heart of motherhood.

and in closing, raising three kids, now in their teens has proven to have it's challenges and struggles as well as it's joys and blessings.  i am not perfect, i rant and i rave, i lose my patience and i am stubborn as a mule but it's only through God's grace that i can continue to grow to be the nurturer, thoughtful, selfless, compassionate, giving, loving, generous and devoted mom.  I will always be a work in progress.i heart the words of wisdom from my sis "keep resting in Christ as you mother in these teen years"

thank you to my three loves and hubby...i had a very loveLee and special mother's day.

Love how you shared your family's thoughts about you (might have to borrow that). I'm glad you had a great Mother's Day...I'm a mall rat too although these days, it seems to be more of a Target rat ;)
