made by me...

ok, so i managed to finish two skirts today. the skirt on the far right was my model skirt.  miss bling bought that one at forever 21.  i used that to figure out how to make the blue one all the way to the left.

thank you to miss girly for modeling the finished skirts for me.  not bad for a girl who took a home economics class back in 7th grade and one beginning sewing class 2 decades ago.  now onto buying a few more different fabrics and making a few more skirts for the girls.

Wow! Those skirts look great!

My mother made all of me and my sister's clothes when we were growing up and I always wanted her to teach me to sew.

Sadly she passed away before that day came.

I think you have inspired me to just give it a try anyway!
