this morning the family and i minus miss bling headed to run "race for the cure". i was running for our dear friend kofi who has been stricken with this awful disease called cancer. he has been in the hospital the past few weeks and was moved to hospice care just this past week. as of late he has fallen into a coma and we are all filled with much sadness as we know he may be slipping away from us but also filled with hope knowing he will be meeting our risen savior and will be in a place where his pain and suffering will be no more.
i do hope that one day there will be a cure for ALL cancer diseases. maybe just maybe...
