after 3 months of being on hiatus from my etsy shop...

i've finally re-opened it!!!

i run a small etsy shop

and i create custom handstamped pieces
and sometimes some sewing goodness.

or a meaning behind it...

this piece was ordered by shelly
who is gifting it to her friend...

(a nickname that she gave her friend)

is for the marathon runner that hot doc is..

this piece was ordered by claudine...

it is for her twin sister's daughter

who's name is "kelsey rose"....

claudine wanted me to handstamp kelsey on the disc

and add a rose charm...

very fitting don't you think?

this piece was ordered by shirley...

she wanted her two daughters names handstamped on a disc...

"taylor and jayda"

and lastly this piece was ordered by alison...

i handstamped the name

"cate"

which is the name of her sister's new baby!

words of kindness and the stories...

i love the words of kindness i receive from customers...

they are all so encouraging and helps me to 

keep motivated in running this little etsy shop of mine.

and i also love knowing the stories behind each hand stamped charm that 

i personally stamp for my customers.

the piece below was ordered from a blog follower who's grandpa

recently passed away.

her favorite memories were of her grandpa always buying her

grandma necklaces.

so she wanted to surprise her grandma with a charm necklace

that had her grandpa's initials stamped on it.

such a sweet story...

and i was touched by what she wrote in her email to me...

"I know there are thousands of other people who can make this, but you have an amazing spirit (I'm a blog follower) so I wanted to check with you first."

yes! there are many wonderful and amazing hand stampers out there who

offer more than what i offer and

i was quite thrilled that she chose me to personalize and handstamp
that special piece for her grandma.

and also the fact that she reads my blog and is a follower

was even more of an honor...

next, the order above was from a recipient of the 

john 10:10 necklaces that i created last month that

was given to her at the women's retreat.

"hello! I have a necklace that was made by you recently - the stamped "John 10:10" with a pearl. You made several of those for a friend of mine, and I had the pleasure of receiving it as a gift! It is lovely, and I take great joy in it."

she placed an order for 11 tiny initial necklaces...

i wanted a quicker way to change my camera strap cover without having

to unattach the strap from the camera, slip the cover on then 

then reattach the strap back to the camera.

 everytime i wanted a change.

so last week i made four removable velcro camera strap covers...

{i'm a girl who loves to change things up all the time and with the standard strap covers it was such a hassle to undo the camera strap in order to take off or change it so i made one with a velcro closure! it also has a lens pocket and two memory card pockets in the back.}

oh, and i am doing a happy dance over here because i just

got a huge custom order for the

"have faith" {a bible verse} necklaces!

turn around time is fairly quick so i will be working on this project 

in the next few days on my spring break which starts afterschool today!
