it was a happy day because...

after 12 p.m. today summer officially started for my kids!  they celebrated by having an end of the year party.  lots of things going on for everyone to enjoy! let the summer begin!  have a loveLee weekend!

after patiently waiting to take her driver's license permit test miss bling finally got to take it today!  she nervously and anxiously took the computerized test and passed!  she can now drive with myself or her dad for the next year and so she did.  after passing the test she got behind the wheel and drove home.  wow, another season and chapter in this book called life.  i already have one legal driver, one in training, and one big insurance bill.  oy vey!

also, after much frustration i finally figured out how to link up my labels to the pictures that are on my right sidebar! whew!

and i was featured on jessica's "favorite things friday" for my previous "favorite things friday"post!  woot! woot!

 

lastly,  i also received the versatile blogger award from bec @ "i heart".  i will have to save and pass this blog award to 7 other versatile bloggers of which i am hoping to do in the next few days! 

in the meantime i thank you, thank you, jessica and bec!  i was very much surprised and delighted to have been picked for both.  it truly is an honor!
