that time of the year...

e.o.g's (end of grade)...
e.o.c's (end of course)...
and
final exam tests!

preparing physically and mentally for an exam
is just as important as learning the material.
eating properly before testing can help you focus on answering
questions correctly.
in order for your brain to work at peak performance
you need to eat a well rounded breakfast
that includes protein, which fills you up and carbs which helps keep
you full longer.

i made breakfast burritos this morning...

the kids had them for breakfast...
and off they went to school to take
round 1 of their tests/final exams!

do you have any special breakfast foods you like to eat
before testing?

Mm.. this looks great. I should try this next time we have guests sleeping over. We're not there yet with our kiddo (exams-wise) but she and I, we're not big breakfast eaters. A little toast, nutella or cereal and she's good to go! Hope you had a great weekend Alely. : )

What a sweet gift for your kiddos! I love a good breakfast casserole but rarely make them. My husband is NOT a breakfast person.

You're a good mommy. We serve up eggs, hashbrowns, toast and sometimes bacon every weekend! :)

I'm so bad, in college I'd have an ice cream sandwich and a soda because you need the caffeine after staying up until 4 am finishing your final papers and re-reading your class notes. Good luck to your kids on their exams!

My two insist on bacon, eggs and toast before EOG's. This is a special treat. Otherwise, they just eat cereal or wafffles.

Oh that sounds delicious! I used to always eat oats with honey before exams or major sporting events. It was great. z
