what's for breakfast?...

day 158 flickr project365
cracker barrel that's what.  if you are not familiar with this place it's a restaurant chain that offers good country cookin homestyle meals.  and when my cousin and family come to visit we have to have breakfast here.  no if's, and's or but's about it...
it's half restaurant...
i love their pancakes with fried apples and their hashbrown casserole.
half old country store...
offering unique gifts and candy
all country.
if you haven't been to a cracker barrel you should visit one at least once. our favorite is their breakfast menu and of course perusing through the country store looking at all of the nostalgic items they sell.  i also love the carolina rocking chairs they have the storefront lined up with.  so have you visited a cracker barrel before? if so, what's your favorite dish?

That looks like such a fun place! Breakfast and a sweet store in one. I love it when things are combined like that (like coffee places with bookstores)

We used to go all the time in college but there isn't one close by anymore. I love those rocking chairs and their breakfasts too.

Cracker Barrel always reminds me of my Grandma. She loves that place and all our Christmas gifts are always from their store.

that looks really fun. My girls would love it, and probably want to touch and buy everything in there!

I used to work at Cracker Barrel when I was in my early 20s. I was the only female grill cook who worked nights. It was super hard work but I loved it!
I also loved that at Christmas time they let all the employees take 35% off everything they bought!
