around the town tuesday- best food

i am joining one mom's imperfection blog hop called "around the town tuesday".  bloggers post pictures so that other bloggers can get to know a little about your town.  each week is based around a theme of what courtney has picked.  this week it's about your favorite place to eat.  i live in a little quaint and loveLee town south of charlotte, nc.  and one of my favorite restaurants is thai taste.  it's an authentic thai cuisuine not mixed together with other asian foods like chinese, japanese, vietnamese but just simply thai!

my favorite thai dish, and it's probably the most popular and famous thai dish is pad thai.  it's stir fried rice noodles, with a combination of shrimp, chicken or tofu, garnished with peanuts. yum! oh, and i can't have thai food without thai iced coffee. soooo good!
i didn't eat there today, just took the photos.  here's a picture of their patio area and it smelled so loveLee with all of the jasmine growing profusely all around.

My husband and I just visited a Thai restaurant in our town for the first time last week. It was fantastic! Now this has me wanting to go back to try their Pad Thai.

I LOVE that you linked up this week!!! I just drove through Charlotte & loved the downtown area. We're currently in Wrightsville Beach & love it here. NC has been great to us. That food made my mouth water. If we drive back through we'll have to try it. Your photos are beautiful!!!

That is the fanciest looking dish of Pad Thai I think I've ever seen! I totally know what you mean about the "mixing" of Asian cuisine. We always laugh when there is a teriyaki dish on a chinese menu, or Korean BBQ ribs at a Japanese place. Guess too many people just asked for it, so they caved.

My sister in law loves pad thai, but I've never been brave enough to try it!

Yumm! I love Thai (my hubby loves the hot, hot, hot...I have to take the most mildest, please :o) Well, maybe not the most mildest...

Thank you so much for stopping by and for your sweet comment. My hubby and I had a wonderful time up at my dad's (the 26 hour drive to my dad's from our home in Georgia to his home in Wisconsin was well worth it :o) Thank goodness though for the midway stop to sleep and visit with our kids who are all at college in Kentucky :o)

It was straight back to work for me, so haven't had a minute to catch up really on blogging, but I want to try to reply to the wonderful comments left on my N post.

Blessings & Aloha!
