chivalry is not dead...

mr. L came home with a bouquet of flowers today.  and no, it's not because we got into a fight and he was trying to make up.  he just sometimes likes to surprise me with them even after 18 years.  it's his way of letting me know i am appreciated and loved.  shortly after he arrived home with my flowers we left for our weekly thursday evening date night (well, at least we try to make it weekly but sometimes other commitments get in the way). anyhoo, back to the flowers isn't he sweet?  i heart fresh flowers in my home.  it's a simple gift but so appreciated.

and so i placed it right on our foyer table.
and since we're on the subject of fresh flowers.  i thought i would post this pic i found while perusing around.  isn't it loveLee?

and i was reminded by miss girly today that it was earth day.  she even told me and mr. L that we needed to walk to our date night restaurant because it was earth day.  and no she wasn't joking.

Well, that is so cool! What a sweetie you got there. My hubby use to do that until I told him a plant would be better because flowers die to quickly. Guess I'm just too practical. Hmmm, Now how can I tell him SO WHAT! I WANT FLOWERS! hehehe They're beautiful. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Hope you enjoyed it. Your's is very nice. I'll have to come back and browse.
