in last night's post i mentioned we had a little emergency.
the emergency was that our little cuppycake was rushed to vet emergency
by my sis after realizing that she had eaten some rat poison!
we are thankful, it was caught immediately.
the vet had to induce her to throw up and injected her with vitamin k1.
she is now taking 1 pill a day of vitamin k1 for the next 30 days.
this will help clear her system of all the toxins.
She is doing quite well, no signs of trauma after all of that.

No! Our first dog did the same thing and he was bleeding out of his nose...so sad, but he got into rat poison twice! So the injection didn't scare us the second time. At least he lived a long good life despite the poisoning!
