whilst grocery shopping i found these...
they were calling my name and i had to buy them.
we make a lot of things things with strawberries and with our first
pack of strawberries for this season we started off with...
homemade belgian waffles...
(i heart my waffle maker, it's one of my fave kitchen gadgets)
and we top that baby with fresh sliced strawberries...
with squirts and squirts of whip cream.
not the light stuff cause if you're gonna have whip cream
you gotta have the real, fattening stuff {smh}...
it was deelishiousness!!!

We haven't used our waffle maker in a while....it's time to get it back out. These look so delish with the strawberries and whipped creme.

Stop, you're making me hungry! My kids eat about 2 packages of strawberries a day. I can't keep enough of them in the house. And AMEN to full fat whip cream!

I love that strawberry season is here -- we've been buying them by the 1/2 flat from the farm behind our house. I swear they taste like candy!
