fun because both my guy and miss bling will be going to the prom with

their respective dates.

i'm just oozing with joy

and can't wait to see them both donning their prom attire!

and busy because i'm gonna be working on a few

orders that i need to get mailed out for

mother's day!

words of kindness and the stories...

i love the words of kindness i receive from customers...

they are all so encouraging and helps me to 

keep motivated in running this little etsy shop of mine.

and i also love knowing the stories behind each hand stamped charm that 

i personally stamp for my customers.

the piece below was ordered from a blog follower who's grandpa

recently passed away.

her favorite memories were of her grandpa always buying her

grandma necklaces.

so she wanted to surprise her grandma with a charm necklace

that had her grandpa's initials stamped on it.

such a sweet story...

and i was touched by what she wrote in her email to me...

"I know there are thousands of other people who can make this, but you have an amazing spirit (I'm a blog follower) so I wanted to check with you first."

yes! there are many wonderful and amazing hand stampers out there who

offer more than what i offer and

i was quite thrilled that she chose me to personalize and handstamp
that special piece for her grandma.

and also the fact that she reads my blog and is a follower

was even more of an honor...

next, the order above was from a recipient of the 

john 10:10 necklaces that i created last month that

was given to her at the women's retreat.

and here's what she wrote...

"hello! I have a necklace that was made by you recently - the stamped "John 10:10" with a pearl. You made several of those for a friend of mine, and I had the pleasure of receiving it as a gift! It is lovely, and I take great joy in it."

she placed an order for 11 tiny initial necklaces...

3 for her daughters to place in their easter baskets...

and the rest as graduations gifts!

and i appreciate each and everyone!

a low key kind of day...

easter was very low key...

we enjoyed an amazing easter service

and then we had my sis and the family over

for appetizers and dessert...

cousins...

they are all growing up so quickly...

chillin' with the peeps...

looks like the peeps made its way to our house too...

and we sure enjoyed having them around...

we will be celebrating Christ's resurrection and

remembering that He ultimately paid the price on that 

cross to save all of us from our sins.

thank you Lord for your sacrifice, your unconditional love, 

and for your abundant grace.

we have fun and

cookies & cream, banana and taro flavored yogurt

topped with:

graham cracker crumbs

shredded coconut

granola pieces

fresh sliced strawberries

peanuts/walnuts

drizzled with chocolate syrup and condensed milk.

i know, wild combo!
