many roads and a guest...

a few of the many roads traveled today taken with my phone camera.  this is how its going to be the next few months with basketball season (practices and games) and cheer practices for an upcoming competition in december.  i will definitely be living in the car as i shuttle the girls to and fro.  

also, we had the pleasure of having a lovelee visitor from our hometown in california.  the young man in middle who use to be a little boy is now all grown up!    i'm glad my sis and her hubby and myself as well as mr. L had some time to spend with him.

and they are now starting to turn colors down here.

the day...

it was a beautiful morning today.  

after work i had conferences with each of the kids advisors and picked up their report cards.  i have to say they all did well.  they could have done a little better in some classes but for the most part i can't complain.  they hope to bring up some grades by next report card period.  

miss girly also started her first basketball practice.  practices will be everyday plus game days.  i guess i will be spending lots of time in the car.  lots of driving and picking up and lots of games to attend.  oh well, it's what happens when basketball comes around...tis' the season.

tuesdays are normally my busiest day of the week.  today was most especially busy because on top of the normal drive to cheer practice and pick up from practice i had to pick up miss girly from basketball tryouts.  thankfully, when she got in the car she broke the news that she made the cut and is now part of the middle school basketball team!  yay!

oh, and in between the pick up times, i walked mei-mei at dusk, took the camera with me and snapped a couple of pictures!

miss girly had to buy some candy for class tomorrow so we headed to target and straight to the halloween candy aisles.  tis the season' for boo-loads of candy!  and my favorite amongst the wide variety are reese's peanut butter cups! yum!
