Life Group friends at the Harris home in Lake Wylie

Our life group had a summer break from meeting but it's tradition now to have a summer get together at the Harris' home at Lake Wylie before we start up our weekly meetings in the fall. It was a little cooler this year so none of us got in the lake this time around. We just enjoyed a nice, relaxing boat ride on the Bentley. Always great food, great fellowship with great friends!

Union Academy's 1st Football Game of the 09 season

This is Union Academy's 2nd football season. This first game was huge! The football field was ready, bleachers, scoreboard up, pressbox up, concessions running, cheer squad cheering and Cardinal fans ready to cheer on their team! Michael helped out collecting for raffle tickets with his buddies, Nelson was asked to film the game, I watched with parents/friends and the girls hung out with their friends. Unfortunantly, it was a loss for the Cardinals :-(.

Nelson's 43rd Birthday!

We celebrated Nelson's 43rd birthday with North Carolina pulled pork bbq sandwiches from the Rock BBQ place down the street from our house! We also had bought a coconut cake and decorated the top with our makeshift #43! It was a good birthday!
